The residence is situated in the Vallées quarter of the municipality of Colombes. An industrial centre during the 20th century and much affected by the bombing of 1943, the town was rebuilt and its economic activity turned towards the services sector.
The Vallées quarter, a haven of peace, has magnificent flower gardens to be admired in good weather - it carries the label “Villes et Villages fleuries” (Flowery Towns and Villages) and is characterised by its “Village” feel with small size apartment buildings and many houses giving the quarter the feel of the country.
The residence is served by three SNCF stations (Les vallées, Colombes et Bois-Colombes) with easy access to Paris, Cergy, Nanterre Université or La Defense in less than a half-hour.
